I got the carb cleaned up (REALLY gummed up badly) on the 1980 tri moto 125 and I tried to fire it up but got nothing for the first 7-8 pulls.
I pulled the spark plug and held it against the head and pulled the rip cord a few more times to verify I was getting spark and there was a blue lightning bolt jumping across the never land at the end of the plug. I reinstalled the plug and cranked on that sucker a few more times but no firing was going on inside that combustion chamber. I pulled the plug again and retested it, no spark the first 3 pulls then a spark on the 4th pull and no spark thereafter.
So, what do you think happened to my spark?
