I had the wife paint my frame the other night - this is really pulling this bike together. Looks really tight. the paint matches the front fender to a T.

looks awsome what size is the front tire how do you like it

the front tire is a 21" hole shot on a 10" wheel.

I really like it on the track - it would be useless on trails!

no no no - mine still has lots of red and white on it. I was hoping no one would think that I am going for an all orange theme. this is really what I am shooting for:

No doubt Max - If this 450 and Lou's 500 would mate - I think it would pop something out that looks like this:

Looks good Tim!

Now I'm looking to build / buy a 450 set up, and curious what platform yours is built off of.
If you could send me a link of the build, that would be awesome.

That looks like someone stole your motor!

I gotta go know why not?

MagicJames - this is a TRX450 quad with the front cut off and an ATC 250r front end grafted on. Here is a link to the build:

http://www.venustel.com/~tkeister/450/450.htm

Goat - I think you mean you gotta know why it is no good on the trails - not enough tire for bug ruts. I mean it is "fair to OK" but a larger 23" handles large ruts and mud much better than the shorty. The shorty has much less tire flex and makes it steer much quicker - hence way better on the track.

haha looks wicked man!

I really dig it, cant wait till I tear mine down!

as a great man with 3 legs once said. "Worth the ching, for the Bling!"

And that front tire/rim combo of the 21 and 10 rim makes a trike handle like its on rails! I love mine!

Nice job, the front shrouds look like they get in the way with the handlebars at full lock, have you had any problems clipping them with the forks?

Get some black rear fenders and the Repsol Honda color scheme will be complete! Always have been a sucker for that particular color combo.

Lookin' sweet!!
Any reason your Fast Trekkers are on backwards??

atctim

no clearance issues whatsoever with the shrouds.

Black rear fenders would make it come together nicely - thanks for the idea.

The wheels are on backwards because I put them on before I put the swinger on and had them backwards - no big deal really - they are coming back off to get the ring re-painted. The spray bomb is not holding up too well.

I thought either:

1. You discovered some big new traction secret.
2. Cousin Golliath mounted them for you.

Josh - trust me when I tell you this........you have never meet him and you never want to. He is 7 feet tall, weighs 450 pounds and has the IQ of a learning disabled 1st grader.

.... and hopefully doesn't read these forums!

He makes Tim and I look like Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking.

here are some pics of her finished up - well almost - I know that my wheels are on the wrong sides still - and I still need to repaint the rear wheel beauty rings.

Here she is in all her pride and glory.
