View Full Version : Picts of my new bikes 86 200x 85 330r

O.k.so I traded the Tecate for these two bikes. Both need work, but run and have good bones. The 250r has the pro-x 330 kit on it, and a new crank. I'm a bit worried about the weld on the intake side of the jug.. The 86 X needs a couple things and I will ride it, the R will be taken down to the frame and rebuilt.

Lets see the weld... What happened with it??

Third picture, right above the nut that holds the jug on. It lookslike that whole section was cut off, as it is like that on both sides.

So long as it doesnt start to crack, I wouldnt worry about it.

Id tighten up that chain before you end up having a cracked case:beer

younknow whats funny,,, a 330 with a stock pipe,,,,,hmmmmm lets see picts close up of those welds,,, i have a cylinder that was welded in the same place too,,,

330 kit with stock pipe and carb, bent bars, missing lug nuts, loose chain.....ya I don't think i will be riding it to have the chance of throwing the chain and ruining the case. Like stated above it will be torn down to the frame.

Yeah I think the pipe was thrown on so it is "running" but the pipe for this motor went on ebay or something.
