My nephew Ryan down shifted from 3rd gear to 1st and pegged the gas . The trike quit and he came to me and said the trike wont run uncle Glenn. I took off the valve covers and the rocker arms fell out. The rocker arms where broke in two. I also found the aluminum oil slinger was broke in two. I bought a V race head and cam. It has roller lifters and a new piston that has deeper valve reliefs and more compression. I also put on a new clutch basket that has one more clutch disc. Vince at tbolt usa said you can get 2-3 more horsepower from the upgrade. I just got it back together and it started on the 3rd kick. It sounds great. Ill keep you posted on how it runs once I take it out for a ride. I forgot to add it is a 150cc motor with a fmf fatty big bore pipe Glenn O.

Forgive my ignorance but how does one shift from 3rd to 1st?

That is one badass trike now though. You should get some videos of that up.

Sorry kasey, I am still thinking 2 stroke pipes. I should have provided a more accurate description such as FMF Extreme mini moto exhaust power core 4 pipe, part# TR-27-2895. I hope this is will clarify my mistake. Glenn O.

I was just going to post a after ride report. I took the trike out today and it runs great. It made a big difference in the way it runs. It runs strong. I am glad I changed out the head. It was worth the money. Glenn O.
