I've ran mine both ways...if the track isn't SUPER groomed and smooth its freakin SCARY to run them tucked in if your suspension isn't setup exactly right. Just a little hop or shimmy and your riding a wobbly dirtbike instead of a three-wheeler. What kind of tire pressure do you normally run? My advice is to try it with them tucked in, but bump up your tire pressure an extra 3-4psi to steady it some and then back it back down to where you had it as your get more comfortable with it. Tucked offset, low tire pressure, and an extended swingarm makes for a pretty hairy ride in most cases.

Bum around a cr500 site, like bannedcr500riders. you will find tons of info on who to go to

I used to run mine in using a JJ&A but it's wicked if there are groves or pits in the track or hill if your hill shooting. I now only run them out. It does not track quite as good, but its way more stable.
Ditch those Pro wedge II's for 22x11x8 9 paddle SLS. You will gate much harder

Nothing other than some bolt-ons. I've read theres 2 really good 500 guys from the Hillclimbing scene, and they are Pete Loomis (Loomis Performance) and then another guy from southern california I think is named Glenn that is GS Racing.
Probably the best known guy in the drag racing scene though is Nate McCoy. http://www.mccoysperformance.com/ He's a bit on the spendy side though
