Best Way to do a Compression Test

I've read several posts on test and was wondering the best was to do a compression test on a Tri-z. Cold or hot and WOT or not and about how many kicks. Don't see in the manual and reference to it.

Warm engine, be careful taking the spark plug out. Minimum five revolutions, WOT.
