Will a TRX 250r shock and Linkage fit 85-85 250r ATC?

yes, thats all I ever use. the top shock will need bushings made or washer to take up the wider mount on the top of the atc.

I need to have them made? or can I use the stabdard bushings and washers made for the ATC 250r shock/linkage?

just get stuff for a 86-89 trx250r, while you are at it, you will have to upgrade to the larger bottom shock bolt found on 86-89 atc/trx. Remember 87-89 used a shorter dogbone. The top shock mount on the atc is wider than trx, if you plan to use a trx shock, a bushing or washers on each side to make up the difference. I used washers, it works.
