About 6 years ago someone cut both chains to our pasture gate rolled in a truck and loaded up my 1985 200s trike. It was my baby I had bought it when I was 14 and it was sweet it was a very sad day when I had to make that police report. Needless to say it was never found.
Present Day-
I bought a 1985 200m from a guy on Craigslist about a year ago When I showed up to his house it was a clean looking bike, it obviously had been sitting outside for some time and he told me he could'nt get it running (thankfully I used to be a mechanic). So for $100 I got a clean bike with a clean title. I took it home and tore it apart to find a bent valve and a bad head. Hooray for Ebay! $25 and shipping i got a almost new looking head, at the same time i bought a top end gasket set. When the gaskets got here I removed the cylinder only to find the rings seized in the piston. Hooray for Ebay! $60 with shipping I got a new piston and rings. I put it all back together and man does that Honda purr!
This is a great site and more then once I had to consult you guys for a little info and never was I steered wrong. You all Rock! Once again I am among what my friends call the crazy people who love those death traps. Nothin like living on the edge huh? Thanks everyone!
