i work at a scrap yard and we have a bunch of H.I.D fog lights lying around. My question is...will my tri-z power the hids or wll they draw too much?

i have a couple spare sets of healights so i was thinking about cutting the back of the light to make it so the hid will slide in so i can have brighter lights

what is the voltage draw on the hid fog lights??? if the draw does not draw more than your stator output they will work BUT like all none battery equiped machines out lights dim at idle, which may be enough to go below the voltage needed to keep it lit,

all else fails get a rickeys stator does and have them float the ground, add a battery and a little wiring and you have a charging system

one will work, two may be too much
Do you have the balast resistor for them?

ill check tomorrow what the voltage is....im hoping my stator will push out enough because i dont have the money for a new stator....heck the reason im trying to rig something up is because i dont even have the money for the bulbs lol

and yes i stil have the resistor
