Any things that are important to check let me know. I dont no anything about these. what might be a good offering price? I have no pics.

First try a new plug b8es will work if the plug is fouled it will "try" to start. Could be old gas as well. You could try starting fluid, if it starts kill it quick starting fluid has no lubrication. You can see if he lets you check compression doubt thats the issue if it trys to start. Could be a weak ignition coil on the stator, check for blue spark, could be timing? Hard to say. I dont know what he wants for it but I paid 400 for one in ok shape and it didn't run 300 for one in good shape that didn't run and 150-300 for a bunch as parts bikes. THE MOST COMMON PROBLEM WITH THESE BIKES IS THE FLYWHEEL THE GLUE LETS LOOSE ON THE MAGNETS AND THEN ITS CURTAINS FOR YOU STATOR AND FLYWHEEL. Its a 250 dollar fix with ricky stator and flywheel can be more or less depending on your abilities and desire.
Get it I love my 8 tecates.
I wouldn't pay more than 500 if it doesn't run unless its in awesome shape. Thats my 2 cents.
