Just picked this up :w00t: . It took a long time to convince a friend of mine to sell this frame to me shens . It was made by a well known maker back in the day . Lets see if you guys can figure out what its for and who made it :naughty: ?

That swingarm is really throwing me off. I've been looking through the library and it's not on the list of usual suspects. There are 1 or 2 that are close, but that swingarm.....The frame is made to take a 90/110 tank and fenders and even a 90/110 rear bearing carrier. But those engine mounts are hard to figure too. The frame is kind of tall, so I'm thinking a streetbike engine or maybe a big single 2 stroke. Doesn't look like RD engine mounts. Heck, it could be a Dico for a big yamaha or a Desert Chassis? You got me on this one!

This is going to be a great build . Not sure if I want to start from scratch or dismantle one of my other 90 atcs for a donor .shens

Not the most stable looking of headmounts for a racing frame. I've pulled some neat bits out of the miami area, a frame or 2 and some nice accessories. I've got a buddy in Hollywood that grabs goodies for me down there. That swinger is the piece that threw me off the most. I couldn't match it to anything. There was someone down there years ago that raced Tigers also, can't remember the name right now.

Not sure if I want to put this on the shelf for now and collect a few bits or just jump into it .:Bounce I've been after one of these frames for a very long time and actually had one back in the 80s . I'm going to be looking for some cool aftermarket parts for this so if anyone has some oldskool stuff let me know .:D

I remember back in the 80s when I raced , rear suspended 90/110s wernt all that uncommon at the tracks . It uses a S&W air shock which is a pretty cool set up .

awesome. I'll be watching this build. That swingarm is neat.
very unique way of adjusting the chain. Never would of
thought of something like that. everytime I see these trick

it from a pile of parts, and I thought it was the coolest trike ever) HH

A little slow going but I finally got a chance to chem strip the frame and paint it up . Went with a black metal flake and it turned out pretty nice . :w00t:

Wow...........

Fantastic!! This question may be a bit off but: Allot of your stuff (I've seen) does not run an airbox.
Does this have a predetermined affect on jetting your familiar with? such as 20% larger increase as a starting point? Or have you done enough of these that you know where to ballpark jetting from??

I'm curious because in the summer I think I can jet up the 200X quite a bit with a K+N...........

I just can't imagine how drastic the jetting changes would/should be.

The K&N def breathe a bit better IMO than a foam type filter and as far as jetting its never been a big for me :D

In other words, as I look at all the incredible machines you own downloaded to a "ATC Keep file" on my PC's desktop, it's never been a huge endeavor jetting them for you.

I don't live in the sandbox/dunes which is where I see so many "open" intakes. I just felt that soooooooo much open air must drastically change jetting?? Maybe not so much...........

Sorry, I don't mean to contaminate such an awesome/historical thread :D :beer

If I didn't say so before, it looks AWESOME. I can't think of a better word/words to describe it. She's a beautiful piece of ATC history; and YOU saved it!!

If you read the entire thread you will be answering you own questions LOL. The manual clutch is off a Honda sl90 trail bike and it will work on a atc110 the same .

Is that a recoil cover? Who made it, and are there more than one kind out there?

Its a cover for the recoil cover and its made out of alum . Very trick part . I forget who makes it but its stamped on the inside of the cover .
