First off i want to say (THANK YOU PEOPLE OF THE FORUM) for helping me with getting the brake hub and thread collar off my axle on my 250r.....I used just about every tip i got from here....cant say that just one worked...But a combination of you guys, torches,PB-blaster,WD-40,chisels,hammers(rubber and copper) and 3 days of banging it finaly came off...I was pretty careful not to damage anything but the brake rotor spindel is wasted so i will need to order a new one with a couple other parts i need to get..so thank you guys and gals once again....Now i have a new question...While i was doing all this banging..I was looking at the top of the front forks and there is about a 1-1/4 of fork that overlaps (sticks up) past the tops of the upper tree`s....So my question would be>>>>Can i loosen the 8-clamp bolts on the upper and lower tree`s and push the forks down through the tree`s like a inch so that they were almost flush with the upper tree`s?????...In-turn...This would raise the front fork clearance by about 1 inch?????....If this can be done....I am sure that somebody here has allready done so....(looks like it would work)...And my rubber fork boots need replaced so i have to take the front forks off to do this anyway so i was just wondering and looking for some input......And since it seems like i am in some kind of typing mood.....I should add that i have seen some awsome pictures of (trikes and the inside`s of peoples garages on here):pics: (loved the garage thread)..:beer ...I will say thank you in advance for this info>>>>>>HERE IT IS................................................ ..THANK YOU IN ADVANCE...........:TrikesOwn
