Current production silencers for 86/87 tecate

I need a silencer for an 86/87 tecate. I dont think they still have stockers at kawasaki. I notices there were some on the DG site but I didnt see any on ebay or anywhere online. Does anyone have any suggestions?

DG. Forget about getting a stocker unless you have deep pockets.....

My DG silencer with my stock pipe is nice with very good fit.

any idea where to get a dg?

I have cash for the right tecate if anyones selling you know of. Im thinkin it makes more sense for me to wait for a 6k complete stocker vs paying out the whazoo for high demand OEM parts.

i was lookin for one last winter for a tecate i was supposto get untell the owner let his buddy ride it and the guy flipped and.... all i could find was dg

DG website shows out of stock. Maybe contact them directly to see if they are continuing production. Thats not good...

try atvoverstock.com they sell the dg pipe and had the dg silencers listed not that long ago.

i personally don't like dg silencers. they are a pain to repack. i made a fmf from a lt fit my dg pipe.

Ill check out overstock. Cross the fingers. Hows the hit on the DG chamber compared to stock ?

i had to cut my brand new dg pipe and angle it a bit towards the fender. then bend the inlet of the fmf silencer to match the pipe. and then move the mount on the silencer to make it line up with the frame. it would be pretty hard to do if you don't have a tig welder to weld the silencer. it actually took me awhile to do to get right and have it clear the fender and frame. its no where near a bolt on and go.
