I just got this last night runs okay has some cosmetic issues but all in all I'm pretty happy with it. This will be my official thread for questions and updates and of course PICS. I plan on getting this ready for my boy. Soon as he saw it he was real exited because it was a little one and he could reach the foot pegs and handle bars, I told him I still have to do some things to it before he can try it for himself. I did give him a quick ride around the yard though.

Where is the trike, all I see is tires!

lol yea they are a bit big they are ohtsu knobbies tire size says there 22" i put a tape on it and there more like 25-26 don't know why they are so big. I did take off the wheels of the 200autox and they slipped right on there a much better fit and temporary for now, i did gain a good bit more space between wheel and fender.

Your tires are way overinflated. They should only have 6 or 8 pounds of air pressure in them. Be careful with over inflated tires like that, they can be dangerous.

You don't need space between the wheel and fender, there's no suspension remember...

true but because of how big and close the tire are the slightest touch of my leg causes the fender to rub.

I checked the presure only about 3psi, same presure guage on the front tire reads the same presure but that tire is definately not as tall. I'm wondering if they were overinflated and the heat of summer has caused the tire to swell . I'm seriously thinking of getting an extra set of 200x hubs and wheels slightly offset to widen it a little and also putting on 18" tires.

I got some 18" Hole Shots, ones mounted, one to go. Looks much better I'll get a picture after I finish the other one. Can anyone give me ideas for the front tire I'd like to go skinnier than stock.

Once they're overinflated and stretched they don't go back. A minor issue - looks great!

big red I just bought one of these myself. can you tell me how to get it switched from high side to low side and vise versa in the gearing? mine looks awefully close to the condition that yours is in. I love these littler critters!

thanks guys....no wonder i couldn't find the lever. I found where it should be and it is broke off just outside of the case. I used a pliers and got it turned to the low side.

no that doesn't seem crazy to me. The older we get the more we realize we don't need speed all the time. Plus, like i said earlier, sometimes I am just too dam tired for the R but want to ride. I can see hopping on the 90, putting around the yard popping wheelies, maybe even a beer or two , if i drank

Hey all, i haven't been on much lately. I did get the other rear tire mounted and stole the front tire off a parts 85 200 and we're lookin much better. The pull rope broke awhile ago and when I went to replace it I discovered the recoil spring had also broke, so I also robbed that from the parts 200. It was a much tighter fit but I got it in there, Does anyone foresee any problem with the larger spring? Everything feels smooth with it and it has a much stronger return. I'm gonna take it to the power washer and get it cleaned up and then I'll post new pics. Does any one have some good ideas about fixing/replacing the fenders they look to be fiberglass?

I just realised how big those tires are. Makes them even more beastly :)
