to loud for ya??? older system or newer??? may need a repack... that will quite it down some... dg does offer a spark arrestor incert for them..

the 'hill billy' way to make it quiter would be to put the spark arrestor in. than put some muffler packing between that and the end of the muffler then hose clamp a piece of screen over the end of the muffler..
sounds hagared but it will tone it down.. will loose some hp but will pick up torque from the back pressure...

The spark arrestor for many of the DG mufflers is a set of Supertrapp discs. I have one on my 350X, its nice to be able to easily switch between quiet for the woods and loud for the lake.

It's about time Nick. Dam thing was too LOUD!!!! Dude you can run it the way it is at my house. Same setup as my 85. Are they busting your balls down at your house?? I've got that Kerker hanging in my shed it's yous if you wanna try it. I might have an old supper-trap somewhere....you've seen how much of a pain they are to get to. Give me a call and lets ride!!!! It's nice out this week and the track is dry. Anyone else in south jersey reading this and wanna join in let me know

Neither of those will lower the noise noticeably. Find the DG one that is discs and you'll be all set.

Going in the garage to fck with theses brakes and carb. I have a slight leak where the carb attaches to the rubber boot.
