Dammit!

Pretty sure my 350x voltage regulator is shot. I have a couple of extra 250r regulators (not sure if they're 85 or 86 but it's one of the two). Do these swap? I don't see why they wouldn't but I'm an eletrical idiot.

Doug, I have an extra 350X regulator. And I need a 250R regulator. Sooooooo. shoot me a p.m. and maybe we'll do a swap. Huh?? Huh?? Does yours have a white lead with a male end and a green lead with a female end? On back says SH557-12 5.8

I'll have to check when I get home. I was hoping to get my lights working before this weekend. I think I have two or three 250r regs though. I'll get back to you tonight.

I still want to know if these parts swap. If anybody knows for sure, let me know please. It would be an easy thing to try but those bulbs ain't cheap.

Both lighting systems are 12 volt though. :wondering
There's a universal 12 volt regulator on dennis kirk for thirteen bucks that I heard works for the 350x. I don't see why the 250r one wouldn't. Very weird.
Here's the one on DK.
moose universal ac regulator (http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_catalog/Product.jsp?skuId=21700&store=&catId=&productId=p21700&leafCatId=&mmyId=#fitment)
Says it fits a Tri-Z but no mention of a 350x. The price is definitely right.

Yes, they are. My dad is running a 250r regulator on his 350X and everything works great.

Just confirming they do work. I ran a Moose universal one for years on my R until I went to a PVL and gave up my lights.
