Yes, the engine code will tell you the year. The tank is from an 85, but that doesn't mean it is. Does it shift all down, or all up?

Yep that is a astro kit seen many 250R's and 350x with them on but only even seen one over 70 with a kit on.....pretty rare !!!! also would say that is a 1985 (or later EU got 70's in 86 and 87 but they look the same as 85's)

Never seen one of those before but that's probably one of the ugliest conversion kits I've ever seen.

Yes that is a 70 and that is a 3x4 kit, way to go Syko!!, There was another company that made a kit that used a fender simalar to the TRX70 and looked much better IMO. That bike looks to be in good shape and it could be converted back to a 3 wheeler again. If you get it, post MANY pics I would like to see them.

Thanks MM,
I rememeber that ad back in the day in the 3 and 4 wheel action and dirtwheels! I couldn't believe they molested that 200X.
It looks like the 3X4 Decal is still on the front of that 70.

Still ugly. The 1984-5 tecate with the 3x4 kit looked ok for a quad.

as far as I know the 3x4 kits all were reversable in my OP I would leave it as is due to the rareness of it, in a sense it is a part of history

i i could understand changing it back in to a 3 wheeler but i think if he wants a 3wheeler he should by this 2 resell it or trade for the 3wheeler he wants i know if i had a shop it would be a great conversation piece to put on the show room
Very ugly, but cool kinda. did i mention ugly???
