Im pretty sure the 185 frame size is shorter than the 200 but how many inches?

No, not really. The 185 and the 200 are pretty much the same size.

on that ATC sales brochure it says the 185 has a shorter wheelbase

Specs page for '82 says wheelbase is 44.1" for the 185s and 46.5" for the 200.

1.6" wasn't really noticeable to me. Sorry if I have misled you. I guess my point is it's not like the difference between a 200x and a 350x.

I figured they were the same also lol. Didn't see there was a difference until I went to the specs page.
