Does anyone have information on rear suspensions for the 185s, either custom or in kit form? The hard tail is the ONLY thing I don't like on the machine. Murder on my old spine. Thx!

What is it you need to know. There were lots of places that offered kits to either weld or bolt onto a 185s frame making the ride soft and cushy! These kits were not blessed with anythng like 8 inches of suspension travel, but were and are still suprisingly plush for what they are. The weld on kits are much sturdier than the bolt on kits, but I've only ever run across 2 bolt on kits. The kits also use the stock rear bearing carrier, axle assembly and drum brake. If you have used the "search" feature at the top of the page than you have probably seen several member suspension kits. Feel free to pm me if you would like if you have any more questions.

Here is a link to my suspension 185s if you want to get a better idea of how all the suspension is laid out and how and why you have to use a 200x exhaust system.
