:( so the story goes i aquired my pitbike from a friend a few weeks ago. i ride the crap out of it for a week or two, no problems runs fine. i go to start my bike up for a long trail ride and it won't rev past 1/4 throttle without dieing. i ttake the spark plug boot off and put it back on, i gain more throttle but not full throttle. so today i go to start it, i kick it over. if i give it hard kicks it fires then dies. i took out the spark plug and it only sparks on the hard fast kicks. any ideas guys? thanks in advance for your help :TrikesOwn

Ya it sounds like it is your pick up coil . But the problem is that on those bikes it is a whole sator plate that since behind the fly wheel.

well guys i really apreciate all your help, i narrowed it down to the spark plug wire via testing the coil and turns out the little connector fell out of it. borowed the one off my big red and she ran perfect
