Brought home another trike 84 big red

Never had a shaft drive, anything to look out for? its been sitting for years. complete, I need to swap the front tire, flush the tank and clean the carb. Seats good, has front and rear rack. Gotta get a battery too. But for 200 bucks. I think im happy.
So anything to watch for on these things? the guy has a 185S that Im hoping to pick up later in the week. jim

$200.00 is a good deal. The only thing I would check is the oil in the rear end. Sometimes the boot where the drive shaft meets the engine gets torn and allows water/mud/crud to flow into the rear end. Other than that these things are tanks!

As long as you keep gear lube in the rear end and check it for water periodically you shouldnt have a problem with them. Those rear ends will take some abuse!
