Sorry about the shitty pics, This thing is a MESS. What will it look like when im done? More to come!

The build will start in January, shouldnt take me long as i will be ordering everything then and getting things off to the powdercoaters! Im still needing a GOOD frame, any hits let me know. I wont be able to buy until Jan though.

Awesome. Anther tecate build.. My 84 frame is cracked and has been rewelded in the same spot. I can't wait to see more progress. It looks like a great start.

Thanks alot, i definatley have my work cut out for me. If it werent for the frame being badly bent i would use it.

Talk about De ja vu' as I am working on an 85 build too. Looks like we both have our work cut out for us, but I hope to get it finished before the new year.

looks like you will be doing alot of work!! I will be following this build for sure. I have an 85 to restore also, but its alittle cleaner to start with. good luck with the build, and look forwrd to the thread.:beer

Thanks guys i probably wont update with the tear down anymore. I will start the cleaning/blasting/powdercoating in mid january so i will update it then. Keep the comments up! I do wish i could have given it a bath before i tore it down. Last time i rode it was a hard muddy ride :D

Yeah believe it or not that engine was just degreased, cleaned and painted about 6 months ago when i rebuilt it. The head is off because my headgasket was seeping from the head being warped. Its plained now and ready to put back on this week.

Yeah you seen it in person. It was looking good then huh? It will be like that again, give it time ;)
