Hello to all. I was wondering if anyone knew of an aftermarket coil that will fit this bike or maybe if one from another atc will work. Thanks in advance.:p

Why do you feel your coil is bad?

I am sure any of the pre 82 string pullers would work, but there are much more experienced here that can properly answer your question.

Welcome aboard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to 3ww.

There's some on ebay right now.

Have you tested yours, to make sure it's bad?

Unfortunately I have found that 79-80 110 are the only ones that will work. I have tried to put used ones that I found cheap from a 70 and 90 on my 79 110, and neither of them fit quite right where it bolts to the frame. The plastic coil cylinder is too wide to fit. Not sure if the new ones on eBay fit correctly or not. I would ask for a width measurement before buying.

My coil is broken. The wire that goes from the coil to the spark plug was very loose. I tugged on it and it came out.

Rob was the only problem you had that it would not fit correctly . I just need it to work. I can find a way to mount it .

I am not the original owner.I picked this trike up about two weeks ago. It just needs some TLC.

That wire that you pulled loose should be able to be tightened back onto a screw. You get the bare wires and they catch on the screw and you tighten it by hand. Kinda hard to explain.

It does not I have looked at it. You can see where the wire was torn. The only part that I have seen that screws on is the spark plug cap.
