Was talking to a salesman at work and the subject got to his and a fellow coworkers trip to CSC trikes. He was telling me about a place in Virginia h saw that was an old Honda dealership. He asked around and found out it was one of the first dealerships in the area. Said the owner never sold any of his trade ins. Supposedly has stuff from the 50's to the 80's. But the arehouse behind the shop is stock full of Crated units. The fella he talked to said he's been in it. Know for a fact there are atleast 20 Honda 300 Dream's still in the crate, brand new. But also mentioned he had several years of brand new ATC70's an 90's and even CT90's. These are new machines never touched by anyone outside the factory. The owner's two sons own it know, and none of it's for sale. The guy has even heard rumor of a 1988 model ATC of unknown size hiding in a crate in one of the warehouses. But I can only dream! On the flip side my Boss was listening and said back in the day, He had about 30 Odysseys and Pilots in stock he couldn't giv away. They were just sitting in the crate. But he can't remember what ever happen to em. Said they were being sold for $3,000 out the door. What a deal, people kill for those things today. But I guss that's what makes things rare, no body wanted em back when they were new. Thought I share this story with you guys.

welcome to the board!
but I must say, sounds like hook, line, sinker to me :(
If it is true, then those kids are very smart, they have probably done some research and found what people are willing to pay now at days for that stuff.
They should even insure it, since the general rumors going around in the area. It would be a nice little treasure tho!
I would give my left n trailpro t for one of those machines

probably one in one hundred of these pie in the sky stories has some truth to it- but you canot really dismiss them all out of hand because the truth is that there really are some people who hoard things for no apparent reason, they tell nobody what they have got and have no intention of ever doing anything with their stash

I didnt say there is no such existence. I said its highly unlikey that there is "20" crated atc's in one random warehouse that noone really knows about. I know theres crated atcs all over the world, but highly unlikely that many in one place.

Well the salesman who actually found out about it said the old man's dealership can be seen from the road. Said theres still old signs hanging up and a couple old bikes in the showroom. But he said all the trade- ins are in a junkyard of sorts. You can see it also from the highway. He only asked about it because he thought maybe someone had a motorcycle junkyard. He was gonna stop and pick up parts for his cb750 dirt tracker. But none of it's for sale either. The guy he spoke to said he's actually been in the warehouse with the dreams and stop countin at 30. But saw several 70's and Mini trails hiding too. Said they talked to someone and are suppose to get a tour of the dealership and surrounding warehouses.

This could very well be true, Just think of all the 3 wheelers that were produced and never sold. We have already seen and heard of a few ATCS still in the crate, bet there is more than you would think out there, probably stacked in storage, warehouses,,etc. If I lived anywhere close to Virginia i'd be checking this out.

I haven't talk to him about it for a while but I'm pretty sure he said is was on 64. It was on the road down to CSC trikes, in Virginia, off 29. Said you could see it from the highway. I'll get an exact location tuesday so you rich mofo's can go get em!
