I thought this was just a factory silver painted carrier on ebay that needed paint. When i got it in the mail today the thing is chrome! Should i try to steel wool the rust off and repolish or should i go ahead and PC it with the rest of the parts?. I think it will look great against a black swinger....But the rust is whats stopping me so far. This has like new bearings and seals so if i pc'd it i may or may not destroy the seals, setting me back 35 more bucks or so. Opinions?

clean it up and order some chrome and polished metal clear from eastwood to keep it looking that way all the time.

SOS Pad FTW.........

The metal one, right? not the green plastic things... I think i used one of those on an old chrome BMX frame years ago. It worked remarkebly well...

yeah...Metal SOS pad with the soap in it already.... Basically steel wool with soap...Soap protects from scratches.... They do work remarkably well on chrome....
