That is right, once again we are headed to the Gordon's Well area of the Imperial Sand dunes and if you dont show up you suck.... We will be arriving on Monday Jan 4th 2010 and setting up, Tuesday we will be picking up 6 people via San Diego airport and be back at dark. Wednesday-Saturday we hope that anyone in the surrounding area can come out and ride with us. Sunday morning, I will be returning those who fly back to the airport, and we will be leaving the dunes sometime that afternoon.

Those who will be attending from last years trip:

Corey Sprock
Eric Barton Atc-Eric
Gary Crum
Jason Hall
Sandy Hall

New to the trip this year:
Roger Sandpuppy
Atc-Tim
Shelly K.
Moshman
Mrs. Moshman
And a very special surprise fly-in from someone you wont want to miss!!!

Once again I know we are planning this ride too close to trike rampage at razor road, and I apologize for that. I have a very demanding schedule and trying to organize a big trip that 15 people people are coordinating the driving, and flying schedules is tough, I did try and have it the first week of Dec to allow more people to make both trips, but it didnt work out.

Hey guys,

We have a core group, not exclusive! Just our close friends that we invite and catter to. The people that get first dibs on the available spots.

We are full at this point. Both Corey, and my truck is making the trip to San Diego to pick people up, and we are packed. Theres no way Im making the trip up there twice to pick people up.

On top of that, we have bought, and fixed extra machines for everyone to be taken care of, we are maxed out on that as well.

If you can make your way there, PLEASE DO! We are just personally full.

I want to tell you about next year though! :naughty:

We are going big time! I will personally be driving as far as Ohio/Pennsylvania to pick up bikes with a 40ft flatbed a little before the planned trip. Then we will have people fly in, via private jet, if we can get at least 15-20 people. We can have a jet fly into Yuma, which is only 20 minutes away from Gordens. We do all the driving, all our guests have to do is make it to the airport, and wait for us to pick you up. Price for full package will be around $600 including pickup of bikes, airport shuttle, plane ticket, food, and gas for your bikes for the week. Corey and I are VERY excited about hosting this operation.

Its going to be epic! Epic I tell you!

So that's the deal. I hate that people feel/are left out. This year, we are overbooked, and have just enough bikes to make it through the week.

Stay tuned! We'll be rollin 3 40 ft trailers deep to Cali in 2011! :naughty:

Hey Dave,

Love to have you! We don't have a figure just yet, have to check prices for jet to fly into Yuma.

We will start planning this next summer, and give a definite price.

I just have to make sure its worth my while to go on a 20 hour drive to pick up bikes before and after the ride.

Plus with both trucks, it cost right at $2000 just to get there and back.

Money adds up quick!

I know for a fact you could count on at least 5-6 from London alone (right Tapper:w00t: ) in those plans, Double or triple that if I got the word out to the quad guys.

Keep us informed on this for sure.

$600 sounds like a fantastic deal. Please keep us posted. How much extra would it be to stuff a second trike or quad on the trailer? I'd send an extra along and make it a community machine in case anyone breaks, at least they'll have something to ride. Whatever the price, maybe a few of us from out east could split it and that machine would be our "insurance policy".

For all of you that have never ridden the big sand before, you will have the best ride of your lives on this trip. Seriously. Take it from a former midwesterner. There's nothing like this in that part of the country.

I would agree! It is some of the best riding in the world! I would miss my trails after a while, but not for a WHILE!

I will keep everyone posted on the "BIG" trip. May have to use one of the Sprocks semis just to get the job done!

Sounds like we could get a lot out response out of this!!!! :beer

I've ridden the dunes in Silver Lake, MI before but I'm sure the stuff out in Cali will make that look like my son's sand box. Fortunately, I still have a couple of sets of paddles out in the shed so I'll be ready to roll.

Whare da hell is jammullll?? IS dat anywhere near desscan`tso ya ya ya acehoo???

well, dont tell the hillbillies, but it's out in the sticks.....

it's near the Tecate border, east of OTAY.....

yeah Glamy...ya shoulda been around here in about 2002, 2003....

one mention of hillbillies and cow piss ponds and they would swarm off their computer seats and start pounding the keyboards with their chewing tobacco stained digits and slobering with their beer tainted saliva

you could've heard them coming on the mud caked utility trikes with racks coated with deer blood....they would be carrying pickforks (with their sisters on back carrying torches) looking for your arse

now...with their strecthed R's and 450's...rolling on inverts....why, they just aren't as fun as they usta be

BTW...all attendees......I just heard that the LEO's wont allow any out-of -state trikes bigger that 185cc's to operate at Gordy's.....so Im sorry to tell ya that the big bores have to stay back on the ranch near the horse trough.....and be prepared for some Mutt-Roost for breakfast with a chaser sand-pebble-in-your-crack.....as YALL' bring up the rear

Im bringing the Kegorator, and getting one keg of beer. Any other cocktail or food requests?

What kind of keg should I buy? Light beer always seems to be the PC beer in this situation.

Lets hear your thoughts!
