Ok Im looking to get more low end power on my Rm125. It takes off too slow, but when it gets into higher range and to pwerband it rips. How can I get it to take-off faster? I was fouling plugs every so often this past season so I think it needs to be jetted but idk if this is the problem. It has a Fmf fatty pipe and pwercore2 silencer.

Fouling plugs at idle? If so it could very well be loading up at idle and not clearing out until you hit higher rpms. If its fouling at idle i would drop the pilot a size and retest

No not fouling at idle but it would sometimes after a few races foul. It never did take off right.

It's a 125! None of them have ANY bottom end, trying to make more bottom end on a 125 is like boogie boarding to hawaii or making an XL600 rev to 14000RPM generaly a poor endevour. What kind of premix ratio are you running?

good luck trying to get a 125 to produce good low end and top end.

Raise compression? but it has big monetary consequences.

Raise compression, lower the port timing, Keep power valve closed longer (tighten up spring If adjustable?) Add a flywheel weight. 125's love to Scream, but I'm sure you could make It better. Depend's on how bad you want to do It. You might find It cheaper to sell the 125 and buy a different bike.

if your fouling, you arent jetted properly, as we have previously discussed.

as for the low-end, 125's have none. to launch hard, you have to rev it up and dump the clutch. it takes some practice and it takes finesse to do it though, PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!

the best way to get more low end out of a 125 is to sell it and get a 250.

bigger back sproket helps.
