Anyone here have a good solution to repairing a broken shock reservoir mount on an 85 250R? In the past I have drilled the welds out and spot welded an 86 mount in but that was on a complete restore that was going to be powdered or painted directly after. This being a rider I really didn't want to strip it down and do that since the frame was just powdered less than a year ago....

I found this link by X.system but can't seem to get a response via email and his PM inbox is full.... Anyway, something like this would be perfect! Does anyone have anything better or can someone on here reproduce a mount like this?

E-bay, There is someone else selling billet mounts on there.

I'm in the same boat, my red 85 has a broken tab and the other side is on it's way

Yes I saw those while searching around but they are made to replace the original mounts, if I did that I would still have to cut/drill what's left of the old one out and I am trying to avoid that if possible. Don't want to ruin the powder in that area if I can help it.
