1983 200X:part compatibility

Turns out my 1984 200X I just bought is actually a 1983. I was looking in the manual and a lot of the specs are different for the 1983. I was thinking about picking up another 200X for cheap for a donor to restore this one, would I have to find another 1983 to make it a good parts trike? Or is enough compatible from the 84 and 85 that they would work.

I think just about everything is the same except for the rear shock, shock mount and swingarm. Try and find an '85 to get the rear suspension set up (better swingarm, etc).

There's a few little things, like the external kicker gears have different tooth counts in the early years. It says in the manual. Otherwise most of the parts will work off of an 85.
