Yes they are decent bikes. If you take care of them they will last forever. My'83 still starts first pull and rides perfect(besides having no brakes, which I need to remedy soon. I doubt they were ever touched for the life of the trike so far and they just went.) and its all original. All i've ever done was change the oil, and i've had it on some pretty knarly rides.

They are lots of fun and easy to ride, they rip pretty good, easy to work on and find parts, and they are awesome wheelie machines. Really light too. I can load and unload it in to/out of my truck alone without ramps(although you can do that with lots of trikes).

Heck yeah, it's more than a decent machine. To me, it's the perfect cruiser out of all the auto-clutch machines.....well at least until you want a racked-out wheeler and the the 250 Big Red gets the cooler-haulin nod....:p

The 225 is torquey, comfortable, reliable, and will wheelie for days on end.....I give it 3 thumbs up!:D
