I have a 86 250r with a stroker kit and a 330 jug all ready to run except i need to know if a 83-84 cdi box will work for it. Any suggestions? wanna see what itll do. Thanks!

I dont have the wiring harness so I have to make one. I noticed by the wiring diagrams on here that a 83-84 does not have a pulse generator. Just cant figure out hot out from the case to the hot in on the box and hot outs to hte coil. Thanks for the help though

your going to make one!?!?! You are a more skilled man than I. I have an extra cdi that came with my 250r. Though I am pretty sure it is because it is bad.

Just get a complete wiring. I've gotten 3 complete ones for $20 each on e-bay.
Try the classifieds here as well. It's better than building one, maybe cheaper to. And it wiil fit.
