200x 250r shock

Will a 86 250r shock fit a 200x?

no and if you got it to fit it would be crazy hard on the 200x due to the fact that the 250R shock is on a progressive linkage and the 200x isnt, I think Ive heard of homies putting 300ex rear shocks on...but could be way off base.

No. The 250r shock about 2-3 inches longer.

also the 250r spring rate is half as much,,, it would be bottomed out all the time,,
