Are any plastics for 86 Tecates still available OEM? One more question: How can you tell when a Stator has gone out?? Is there anyway to test them?

when a stator goes out when your riding it will either quit working entirely, or it will go out like you are fouling your sparkplug..and no matter how many new plugs you put in it wont fire up, you cn test it by..once again holding on o the spark plug wire and kicking it over...if it shocks teh piss outta you it isnt bad...if it sorta shocks you then it is most likely almost gone, when i fried my stator it still had a little bit of conductivity or whatever and the voltage meter said it was good...so you need to take it to someone who knows what there doing with these things...or see if it can shock the piss outta you :D
