Hey, Whats the furthest or crazyst ride you have done on a three wheeler? my longest was 80 miles, went from a mining camp out in the boonies into talkeetna this spring. the crazyst ride ive had was from said mining camp, down a few rivers, across lots of big medows, slid down a snow patch for half a mile off a hill, drowned the bikes a few times, bent the handle bars down over and over again, and even had a bear bite a hole in a tire. basicly the whole "to grannys house we go" thing. for 34 miles. That was the longest hunting trip ever. so yeah. Ive heard about you desert people going pretty far, do you have to carry extra jerry jugs with you?

The crazyest one for me would be the ride from Rose City to bull Gap with a lot of fellow trikers! Had a lot of fun and would do it again! I can't remember how far it was, had a quad go down for the count but was able to fix it on the trail and some poor guy on a 200x that basically rode the day on a flat rear tire.

Craziest ride was when I got lost down by Waretown, NJ just off exit 69 on the Garden State Parkway.

There was a guy there that owned a bunch of property that backed up to the Pine Barrens and he would let you into the one part of his property to "camp" so long as you made a donation to "protect the trees". We were down there about 8 or 9 years ago and the first night I decided to take my buddy's 1986 R for a little night cruise around the camping area. Somehow I got really lost and ended up riding around for like an hour in the Pine Barrens trying to find my way back. The only thing I could find was the parkway which for those of you who don't know the NJ area is a MAJOR north/south divided highway. After fumbling around for an hour and even ending up in someone's back yard I finally ended up running out of fuel. I put the bike on reserve and knew my only hope to make it was to just ride up the parkway since I knew my way from there and to just cruise so I could save fuel. So here it is like 9 at Saturday night on Thanksgiving weekend and I rode up the shoulder a little, built up some speed and slipped into traffic on his R, just keeping up with the cars as if I belonged there. Fortunately he had the 15 tooth on the front for the ice so I was able to just cruise along in traffic. Luckily I didn't see any state troopers and I made it to my exit. By the way there is a BIG sign at the end of the exit ramps at this town about how no ATV's are to be used off of private property and there is a minimum $1000 fine, confiscation of the ATV, and driver's license suspension as penalties. I get to the end of the ramp, take a quick look at the sign, swallow hard, and make a wide open mad dash towards the camp site. I manage to make it up to the entrance, off the public road about 500ft and then it runs out of gas all the way. I ended up pushing the R into the woods alongside the sand road and walking the last mile to where they were camping.

They said they could here me riding around, get closer, and then further away again. They didn't want to come out looking for me because they were worried that they'd get lost too. As the two of them were sitting at the fire waiting for me they said they stopped hearing the R for a couple of minutes then heard me tearing through the gears, then it stopped again, then they heard me tearing through the gears again. When that happened they looked at each other and were like "Is he riding down the parkway?!?!" LOL!! I sure was.

Best ride was Divide peak a couple of weeks ago, first ride out on my new 350x. Not sure how many miles we went but it is a really fun fire road up in the mountains where there are huge cliffs on each side of you but you can see the pacific ocean on one side and the mountains on the other. That or a couple of weeks ago we rode my friends 4,000 acre ranch in Los Olivos, so many rolling hills and tight trails.

Dammit!

Best and longest ride was at Windrock in Tennessee. I was the only 3 wheeler there and i followed a group of Rhino's and 4 wheelers for about a 45 mile trail ride. Windrock is over 72,000 acres of the best riding and my Bigred went everywhere the big bikes went. I had to pull a broke down 400ex the last 12 miles at night back to Camp.

one of my craziest rides was also one of my shortest. we live near I-70 and there was a hole in the fence. (i wonder how it got there) we would get out on I-70 and ride a wheelie for about a mile down I-70 to the next hole in the fence.

another one was another short one. there was a pipe that went under I-70. it was just big enough to fit the 3 wheeler in and was close to an 1/8 mile to the other side. we took the 3 wheelers through it and when we got to the other side we found out that it was a 10 foot drop. we had to push them backward to the other side. the only time i really wanted reverse.

60 miles... Started on the trails in northern MN... Rained the whole time... Lots of mud... Wish I would have had the BR and not my 350X for that ride!

I'll second that....What is the statute of limitations in Florida for running from the law?

I live in waretown, and know exactly where you were camping, it called the elbow. I do alot of riding out there and it is very easy to get lost.

Id have to probably agree! I think it was about 50 miles one way! That was a ride that just wouldn't end! Felt like a chore by the end of it, thinking about the loooong ride home.

You guys are funny. What do you think that the cops are lurking in here looking to bust someone for a chase they got into 3 years ago?

Oh, and Keith. I feel a little better about it now, I thought I just was really dumb that night but if a local guy says its confusing there then I know it must be.

10 ft drop, should of rode right out, pull the front wheel and gun it out the tube

a few of my good buds loaded up are bikes and went down to a huge rock quarry. well we were messing around with this huge unpside down "U" shaped hill with nothing but a huge 10ft drop in the middle. we would gas it and slide sidways across the top and comdown the other side..... well in order to get up to the ground "level" that it was on you had to go up a huge hill climb. ther were 2 trails up side by side. One for wheelers and a small path beat in one from a few dirtbikes. that one was a serious serious drop down. i imagine it was a serious climb up for those bikes... well my buddy was coming down to the decend of the u and went down the wrong little path for coming down to our ground level.... well as soon as the front tire went over the lip of the quarry level wall... flying he went kicking the whole way. Then he hit the ground face first after about a 15ft drop. right into a pile of nice soft sand. then the big red he was riding followed him with a flip and landed right on his head! i though ti killed him right there. after he jumped up and couldnt remember anything and was all scraped up and bruised but no broken bones. we took him to the hospital and he had a serious concusion.....the trike fell on him from about 15tf up! the gas tank was what hit him in the back of the head!.. huge dent in the gas tank! .. cracked helmet... all that. if he wouldnt have had the helemt on im sure he would have died... simple little mistake.
The funny part about this was once we got him back to the truck and started the hour drive to the hospital. He kept saying a few things over and over. He would say where are we? id say where we were. then he would say where we going? then id say the hospital. then hed say what happend?. then id say you fliped the 3wheeler. then hed say i told you those things were dangerous! then i say your a dumb ass and you went over a cliff. then hed say did my helmet stay on? id say yea... then about 5 minuts later same exact series of questions! lol over and over it was kinda funny to see his face after i told him he went off a cliff after he said trikes were dangerous lol

my craziest ride was on my YTM 200 during Buffalos big October storm. I drove with a passenger on my little ytm200 about 15 miles of snow covered streets. After reaching my dads I got hung up in my driveway with my dodge pickup on 40'' super swampers and blew the front axles out. the snow bank in front of his house was higher than i anticipated. Only way to get back home was the ATC. roads closed everywhere, phone lines laying in the streets, cars completely buried under snow to the roofs, Trees knocked down EVERYWHERE in the roads, people camping out under bridges...its really hard to say how intense it was in words. We were underdressed for the occasion to say the least. It took from about 10pm until 6 am to get from my dads house to my apartment at the time. We did help a few poeple along the way but mostly just tried to make it back in 1 piece. hands down my craziest ATC ride ever.

i was not as good at that time as a latter became. also i would have had to just go fast out of it. the top was so low there was no room to pull the front up. i was on a 3 wheeler and could just fit around to the front of the bike. my buddy was on a 4 wheeler and he could not fit between the bars and top of the tube to see over the side.

well if wer enot allowed to talk abothu police chases i dont know qhta to really say. alot of road rides a few rides up torugh the game lands, a few break down and quick fixes lol ummmm got lost and went about 40 miles on theroads once cause we got so twisted around but the 2 best ones were out in hazelton rode form beaver meadows to mcadoo on the road at 100plus mph i was on a xr600 and jarod ziggler ( rip buddy) was on his banshee, if i rember that opne corectly it ended in a serious police chase. and nother time same people but we were both on banshee's and i just hit reserve and we got droped out on just outside for mt carmel and he had abotu 1/4 tank i drained my fuel and we straped them together and we did a 6th gear ride down rt 54 allthe way back to treverton. that was a wild ride 80-100 mph with only 4 feet between us lol
