Thanks! Guess I get to join the 70 regatta guys now ;)

These bikes are so cool, all it needs is a quick repair to the pull start-rope broke, My daughter is already sneeking out of the house, i found her climbing on the trailer and trying to take the cover off , LOL!

nice pick-up, looks to be in great shape. I too just picked up a 70 for my 2 1/2 year old son, gonna give it to him for x-mas, hoping he will be able to ride it this summer.

while your working on it,, pull the tank off and straight edge the frame.. it appears to be bent like so many 70's are... looks like a pretty clean one.. tell tail sign,,, fender against the motor,,, :beer

fender rubbing.....frame is a little tweeked as Kasey said. There was a post by a member using bottlejack and some wood blocks, looked like it worked good. Nice 70 find, beware......one is never enough! By the way, you sure it was your daughter sneaking out and sitting on the trike or you??

Nice 70 there. I just got a 79 to add to my collection. I still sometimes regret selling two of my other ones
