i have an 85 x...putting a dg exhaust on was wondering what you guys prefer for air filter..k & N or UNI??? the difference in the prices is pretty big but i heard uni is pretty good also....any advice?

UNI. Flows as much as a K&N with a pre-filter on it, and doesn't let in the fine dust like a K&N will. UNI's are easy to clean too. Douse them in gas, clean, squeeze out, and apply filter oil.

i have a 200x with dg exhaust and use a k n filter.all is good.

i have both ... the uni is fine and is cheaper so thats what i bought and no regrets

sounds good...only problem is my stock exhaust is giving me hard time taking off right now!!!! back to the garage

yeah i called up service specialties and had my girl pick up the copper gasket and now she runs good...only thing is she is hesitant through the gears..whats next?? gotta rejet it or something??? we can run em as soon as i get her running strong levi
