bayou klf 185 problems

I have finally narrowed it down to the coil or the cdi unit.... do the cdi's go bad often on these? does anyone have a cdi unit for this quad? It will run then die out... I have gas and I have air... I have spark until it dies out as far as I can tell. any help?

are you sure you have gas. i had the same problem with the one i had. these machines have electric fuel pumps. i could start it up fine but when you would get moving it would choke out. if i were you i would check fuses and the battery if you have one(if not you should get one). also test the fuel pump. they can start up without the help of the fuel pump but they cant run very well or long without it.

I have a clear gas line running to the carb now, and it appears to be getting fuel.... When it is sitting not running I can hear the pump clicking on and off........
