I have tried putting pics. on here but it wont let me upload! Anyway I have a 85' 350x in like new cond. all factory oem plastic and undameged metal tank including mud flap still in one piece, the only thing is the frame is white, the whole bike is white except for the srouds which are red and the motor is black blue boots and seat. I have had this bike in a garage for the last 22 years and as far as I now the frame is stock color I spoke to the first owner and he tells me it is stock, but all I see are red or black frames? It does have a big bore kit, and DG exhaust the only damage it has is a small quarter size tear in the seat on the corner. Just wondering what this are worth I see ads all over the board as far as price goes...Just wondering. Thanks. For pics e-mail me at f350onsteroids@hotmail.com I will be happy to share some pics.

deffinately not a factory frame color. 3500.00 is way steep for here in the states, seeing know pics, and just going by description I would say 1500-1800. must have 86 plastic if its white with a flap!

I hope to not get too offtopic but how hard would it be really for canadians to come across the border and buy cheap trikes in the states then bring em' home?
as for the 350x cant give a price without pics! But IMO the only 350's that can bring BIG money are Mint OEM, mint restos with NOS parts, or really cherry powerdcoated, polished aftermarket bling machines. I think anything else is just average.

This bike looks like it is 3 months old like I said it has been garaged for the last 22yrs. everything is oem except mods to the motor I have put dougles rims w/inner and outter bead locks also but still have the original ones in the closet. I have pics of it beating a 750 brute force and yamaha 450 sport quad extremly fast through all gears I wasnt trying to sell just trying to get a value of some sort. I wish I could figure out how to post pics.

seems like 1500bones is the going rate for nice 350x's around here. Can pick up a decent one for 1000, a junker for 750 or less

The value is a number agreed apon by the buyer and seller our opinion means nothing ..... if it isn't for sale then why ask for a number? I have seen a couple here on the boards that were very nice that couldn't get $2500??? to me that would be a good price for a good clean runner. A "new never ran" bike could bring 14 grand but that isn't what you have want the value? put it on ebay and sell it

Yeah some people ask ridiculous prices here for sport and racing trikes because they're rare around here. Barely ever see any come up for sale, and when they do the prices are insane which totally sucks. This one guy in my town wants $4500 for his '85 250r and won't budge on that price. He'll never get rid of it. lol He has it sitting in a shelf in his garage..never rides it..shame. May as well sell it to someone who will use it. Another guy wanted $5000 for an '85 350x. I had a good laugh at that guy.

are the trikes just expensive in canada? you would think with the kind of prices like that, someone with a bit of cash and a trailer, would take a ride down south, pickup a bunch of clean trikes, and make it worth thier while.
I met a guy from canada, he use to come to arizona, pick up a classic hotrod type car every year while on vacation. Drive it back north and pay for his vacation after he sells the car. jim

thats what im saying. Id like some canadians to chime in here and fill us in on the rules of bringing trikes across the border if they have any idea.

could be a factory racing pro-am bike that never made it very far and that would make it worth a ton! if it is a rear factory perforamnce one it's worth a whole lot more than $3500. i'd put it into the $12k range to start.

I think 3500$ is too high. Most of trike here are between 200 and 2800(clean 350x).Most of 250es sold for 600-1500$,and I think is probably the same price for you in the US

Thanks ATCeeya for posting the pics. everything is original as far as plastics go, nothing has ever been replaced the only thing I did that I regret is taking all the stickers off but like I said I have had it a very long time. As far as the prices you guys have been talking about, I would like to find some of those...An 70 atc in ruff shape sells anywhere between 350-650$$ and seen clean ones go for twice as much you cant touch a NICE 85-86 250r for under 2,000 around here, a guy at work just got 700$ for a roller NO motor, tank, or rear plastics! these are just a few I have personally seen cash exchange hands when sold. I guess it depends on really where you live as far as values go, not the history or cond. of your bike.

no problem cowboy. I was suprised how nice it was when i saw the pics.
In 1985 they came with all red plastics. In 1986 they were white. You have an 85 seat, but I think 1986 front brake rotor? Somebody please correct me if Im wrong. While I own an 86 myself, I dont visually know all the differences like some others on here do and its too cold to go outside in the garage to check mine for comparison. I think I see frame gussets on it, which would lead me to believe it an 86? Im sure other will chime in.
Its definatley got a few aftermarket parts on it, grabar, exhaust, rims, bars, brake line, and the white frame and swinger is not stock color either. But I must say the bike is very clean looking as I said before.

IF those are original plastics you got an 86 not an 85. But hey Im no expert. Just look at the Honda brochures.
As far as what its worth right now in this market 2 weeks before Christmas... Somewhere between 2500 to 3000. 4 to 5 years ago or 4 to 5 years from now 3500 to 4500 range maybe?
Just my 2 cents
