Decided to spend more time on my bike and figured i would look here for inspiration and advise. ive owned my bike for about 9 years now and it runs perfect im just looking for a few parts that im having troulble sourcing for some reason any help finding these items would be greatly appreciated:beer

*first item would be a seat. im looking for a stock 86 seat but can only find covers. i had a friend put his vest on my seat and for some reason the paint on the plastic of the vest imprinted itself on the seat

* second would be a stock swing arm. the current swingarm was cut and extended 4 in.... swingarm works great just kind of miss the unpredictable front end

* lastly im having trouble sourcing a rear sprocket 2 teeth higher than stock.

if i posted this in the wrong section i apologize

My bike how it currently sits.....

I don't see why Sprocket Specialists wouldn't have the sprocket you need. They seem to have a lot of stuff.:welcome:

Seat covers are available. They are cheap and real easy to put on.

Ps,

I am in San Bernardino also.

i thought about getting a seat cover but i dont think the seat i have will be good for too much longer. when i store the bike i stand it up and this last summer the gasket to the valve on the carb broke so all the gas leaked down the frame and was absorbed by the tail end of the seat.

what part of san b are you from? the San Bernardino trikes should really get together soon :beer

Hey dude, welcome to the board! There is going to be a huge event at Gordon's Well on the second weekend of January. Alot of people from here are headed out there. I am going to try and make a day trip, but not likely, since I already had a trip planned for the following weekend to participate in the dune clean up there. Anyway, You will find this site priceless to info for your trike. Just do your self a favor a research any question you may have first in the search thread section, up top. If you do not find what your looking for, start it up, Plenty of great people here. Sending you a PM right now too, ttyl

:welcome: to the boards bro!!! Nice bike!!! As mentioned earlier, for the seat try Tammy or Rob Moshman here on the board or on planettrike.com. They are by far the best people to deal with and the best you'll find for a seat, they do it all, including the foam. Best price too. Hope this helps a bit. By the way, that's an 86R so, 86-87 TRX250R swingarms will fit. More options for you.
Enjoy your stay. :beer
