Does anyone make a trike cover? I know you can get motorcycle and quad covers, but does one exsist for a 3 wheeler? I refuse to put a tarp over my BR after the resto job, and the idea of a baggy quad (gag) cover doesnt turn me on...

Darrin, I will post up pics of the ones my wife makes for me for machines I have. I don't have past pics of the others that have been sold that she made covers for, 250R - 350X, just the Big Red + Polaris trike.
Next up for her to make is a cover (black) for my Tecate once I am done tinkering with it.
She don't make them to sell ~ resell.
I would not be opposed to sending you mine to use as a "pattern" to go by if you cover shipping both ways, if you would like to go that route.
Any good seamstress should be able to use it as a guide to get measurements from the "panels" (that's sewers lingo :) ).
If I recall correctly, it takes about 3 yards of material of your choice.
One word of advice is do NOT make it fit too tight and sew on a emblem or patch or stencil something on it somewhere for reference so it is easier to put on.
IE: Honda logo on back so you know where back is to go.
Other wise it is kinda like pitching a small tent with no instructions every time you put it back on.
And I agree with you Darrin about a nice cover compliments a nice machine.
Okay, look for pictures in a hour or 2.

Yes, Honda made them in the 80s. There are hard to find, but i found two of them, still in their original pakage (Hondaline). I paid $80 each .
Not for sale.
Good luck.

What if you got a quad cover and got it altered at a sewing shop? I'm sure they could alter it to fit right. They would make it look like its meant for it,

The Mrs. finally got up and she says 4 yards of 60 inch wide or 7 yards of 45 inch material is needed.
The BigRed cover fit a lot better before I added a front tool box and a rear work light but,,, still dose the job well.
On the BigRed I choose a rip stop type of nylon. other covers I choose a breathable canvas material.
I have had a couple of the Honda line covers as well that come my way for cheap. These fit much better IMO and ain't so high priced or 25 years + old.
Ya All have a real good day.

Wow! That cover looks great. Too bad your wife won't sell them. I bet she would do well with that here, especially if she made different sizes for the smaller bikes (70s, 90s, etc.).

I sent a Cycle Country trike cover up to Muddogs Restoration this summer along with some other nice 350X parts I acquired to use on this years 2010 Raffle trike
(use as he see's fit, trade for other parts or to include with raffle trike)
Perhaps we will get a glimpse of it it in the near future.
