I was looking at the kawasaki kx 65 2 stroke dirt bike and thought that would be cool to make one of those into a 3 wheeler for my boy. I have never done this before but I have a mig and tig welder. I just did not know what to do about triple tree brackets who would make them, what forks to use, is the front rake of the motercycle okay or will the angle need to be changed. also swingarm and what plastics woulsd a person use. I know alot of this will be trial an error but was wanting some ideas from anybody that has done a project like this before.any help would be appriciated. Thanks Glenn Oister

I think it was Tricky Dicks who sold a kit to build a KX60 or KX80 trike. There are pictures of them around. I think it is Jason Hall that built a CR80 3 wheeler for his son to race. He is an amazing fabricator and could probably build the triple trees for you. There was a YZ80 trike that popped up on craigslist not too long ago. I love these too, and would love to make one for my son as well. I found pics of a KX80 and CR80 trike.

Thanks for all those links. They give me lots of ideas. I must say that swing arm on the 3 wheeler that was on craiglist scared me to death. It looks like the swing arm was cut in two then bolted together. Scarey to say the least. Once again thanks for the links. Glenn O.
