I have seen online a couple times the Tecates with a skinny front tire like the X's how do you do that? do you put a triple tree from like a 350x onto it then all the other forks and tire and stuff off the 350x or how does that happen? we dont like the fat tire it seems to plow alot when turning.

You use the front end off of a 86-87 tecate (skinny front tire) then you would have to figure out what to do with the radiator. There was a thread a page or two back about it.

just get a little practice in with steering with the throttle and your butt insted of the handlebars. saves ya money and time and is lots-o-fun when ya get the hang of it.

I've never had an issue with mine pushing. There are a lot of people on here complaining about the A1/A2 front end lately, but I personally love that trike top to bottom. I see you're from Granby. You should go riding with us sometime.

I think the early Tecates were the best turning fully suspended 3wheelers made. Sharp steering angle, and that 10' wheel and fat tire made for big fun! Seems the tall wheel and longer travel later model trikes just don't have "quickness"
