Removing 84 R motor????

I'm looking at the manual but its more focusing on the 81-82 motor and they have the different swing arm hook-up.My question is do I have to take off the shock upper bolts and/or main swing arm bolt. I have the motor loose and it moves, but it has minimum room as of now.:confused: Thx

you have to unbolt the shock and remove the swingarm completely and it will come right out
