I have been looking for one of these front ends for a whole now. Wanna sell it? And those red turbo rims too?

That front end has been sold to another member on here way before this and maybe the rims too, I'm not sure.

I don't really know if you would call it leading link. They are the first suspension front ends for the 90 that I remember. I don't remember other front suspension kits hitting the market before them. And like someone I was having a conversation earlier today with reminded me, they weren't really the greatest or cushiest riding by far, but they were somewhat better than no suspension. Some people raced them, but most racers stuck with aftermarket non suspended front ends. Most people went with beefier front ends and some who had the extra dough, went with the chromoly front ends to save a little weight, but alot of the stock front forks buckled in tangles with other racers trikes. And some of the aftermarket front ends had provisions of a second and even third location to move your front axle farther forward of fork center. I just traded off a really nice steel 2 positon set of chrome front forks to a member on here for a deal on an aftermarket 350x extended swingarm. Also the Rutt Ryders main claim to fame was as the front end of a certain magazines project trike that had been seen in these forums many moons ago.

:postwhore:postwhore:postwhorewhen these front ends first hit the public...they were home built and the idea was taken from the SACHS motorcycle SUSPENSION
and yes Vealmonkey, your info is right on.....racers prefered the rigid front end at that time.....and those front ends were trailprojunk, trailpro manus were just trying to cash in quick to the General Joe Blow public on a home garage idea that caught a brief wind of popularity
who's going to be the first flunkie to start offering new kits on this self annionted rarity of trickness in the vaccum of authority?:banned::banned::banned:
wrench heads...focus your attention on this quote....
you simply bent the existing stock forks, made the hoop, and mounted upper shock brackets according to what size shocks you intended on using
whoolaa!!!!:welcome:

I had a feeling that they used stock OEM forks to make those ruttryders suspension kits . I studied mine very close and it matches up exactly with oem but with the bends and brackets . Thanks for the insight .
