What parts interchange? Im looking at two of these bikes for 500. One runs but needs a recoil but I can use a rope for now. The parts bike that does not run is in alot better shape. It even has trail pros! The 84 needs a back sprocket and the 82 needs rings I think to get it running. I was wondering, what can I swap? fenders? motors? tanks? any help would be appreciated!

I'm not sure but I think is all the same,....the sizes of tire are different(in original) and i think the rim of a 's' model is 8" , and on the older Atc200(with no letter) model have 9"
If I look my Atc 200 '83 and my Atc 200S '85......Recoil starter fit on both!........

recoils are identical one might not have the decompression cable, and make sure you hold onto those trail pros, those are a gold

they both have decompression levers on the right side of the engine. so the fenders wouldnt fit at all? because they are like new and the ones on the 84 are 45 gallon drums cut up

If you are looking Mudbug, A friend of mine has a 200 for sale in St. Fintan's for $400 that doesn't need anything. It runs strong and is in pretty good shape. Brakes and everything work on it. It's listed on NLbuy&sell for $800 right now. I was going to buy it but ended up with a pile of yamaha 200's from him instead.

the 200s comes stock with an automatic decompressor so you don't have to flip the the lever up, just to clarify
