Just wanted to say whats up and kinda introduce myself. My name is jeremy, im 30 and just getting back into the 3 wheeler world. I owned 3 wheelers when i was a kid but its been years since i have owned one. As a kid i had a atc 90 and a Klt 110. I recently found a 1985 yamaha 225dx in my area and the price was right for me so i picked it up. I got a complete running 3 wheeler and another 85 225dx parts bike for $325. I only have 1 picture of the trike so far and some pics of the parts off the parts bike that i'll post. I changed the oil and put a new air filter on it but other than that all it needs is a headlight assembly which the parts bike has. it has the blue plastic on it but the yellow plastic with the parts bike is actually nicer so i plan on switching it to the yellow plastic. I'll post pictures of everything i have and if theres anyone looking for parts that i have on the parts bike i'm more than willing to make a deal to help someone else out. I am interested in an aftermarket exhaust but haven't found much out there for the dx. I'm also interested in switching the rear hubs to something else with more of a selection on rims and tires. anyone that has any info one the hub switch and whats my best option on that, the help would be greatly appreciated.

This site is really cool and has a lot of helpful information. Its nice to have a site like this with people who enjoy trikes and not whining about how dangerous they supposably are. my dad showed me how to ride and taught me to know my limitations as well as the machines limitations. 3 wheelers aren't dangerous its the idiots that dont know how to ride them that are dangerous. in closing thanks for a great site and any info and help will be appreciated. anything i can do to help or assist people with, dont think twice about asking. glad to be a part of 3 wheeler world thank u jeremy

thanks for the welcome guys. anyone with any ideals about different hubs. i'm looking for whatever one would have the most options of finding rims for. i'm pretty sure blaster hubs will fit but not sure of the others Ex. banshee, warrior. Just would like to get away from the 3 bolt and go to a four bolt hub. thank jeremy

i know banshee hubs and all honda sport atv hubs swap out but i dont know if they will on yours. im pretty sure those are all 24 spines so just count yours and see whats left.

There is two different bolt patterns of banshee hubs so watch out. You will probably want the newer style that is 4/115 should be 91 and up I believe. The first style of banshees used a 4/156 (not sure on that its the same as banshee front wheels) these are obviously harder to find wheels for.
