Honda 110 Frame Question

Can I swap the frames between an 80 and 82? I have an 82 with frame issues, and a spare 80 frame. I'd like to swap everything from the 82 over to the 80 frame. Everything looks interchangeable, but I dont know if I am missing something minor that will ruin my day when I find out?

Anyone have an answer?

I would think they would be the same. If they were '83+ it might be a different story but even those are probably the same.

The only difference are the electronics and the way they mount to the frame . A 1980 110 is a points motor and the 82 is CDI so if your creative it shoud be a snap .
