Found this gem on Craigslist. Seller said it was mint with only a bent brake lever, no rips in seat etc., but wouldn't get any pictures. He also said it had a recent top end. Although I'm not really a Yamaha guy I am pretty suer it's an 86 225 DR. After a super quick once over I se it need a carb to airbox boot, seat and some wiring work. The plusses are like new turf tamers all around with the rears on aluminum rims, DG grab bar and no cracks in the plastics. Key is in the ignition and overall I think it's pretty complete. I would like to see a picture of a completely stock one to see what's been messed with. Enjoy the pictures.

I love those black/red/gold Yamahas. I believe they came with gold rims which really look great on there. Someone bought a nice one on here all stock with good pics about a year ago but I can't seem to find the thread.
I also know where there is one local and one of these days I'm gonna knock on the guys door to see if he's interested in selling.
Mind saying what you payed for it?
Edit found this one. Not black tho.

The pictures are before I hit it with some degreaser. It actually looks even better now. The guy selling it wanted $400 and I said I would pass then he said he was going to cut it up so I offered $300 and he took it.

Nope! Everyone thought it was a good deal when I bought it for $300 but I can't get $200 for it now.

If you can meet me in Fort Wayne Indiana I would talk $$ with you. I am in Springfield Mo. I make it up to my parents house occasionally, but that is as far as I can travel. Anyone going to Icefest that can bring that trike along?

No, that is the factory colors. They rolled out a limited edition model and that is it.
