185S engine in 84 200x, will the 185 carb fit?

I installed a 185 engine in my 84 200x frame and was finishing things up an it looks like the 185 carb is too long! I cannot get the carb on the manifold studs because there is a frame gusset in the way. Is a 200x carb shorter and that is how it fits?

Use the 200x carb boot, it has the proper angle so the carb will fit

200x carb is bigger as is a xr200 and they work well on the 185's as long as it is the single carb not the 4 valve (85-86?) xr as long as you are ordering parts why not?
