Dual range to standard conversion??

Would it be possible to convert a 200E from Dual range 5 speed to standard 5 speed without splitting the cases? I do not use my dual range that much and have a 185S donor motor with a good transmission. Also my other 185 pulls over hard:mad:, but without recoil on it turns fine. Any ideas on why recoil is dragging??? looks good inside, no dirt in it.

drop in a new motor if thats what you want.save the original for a later date.
